Rick Marino was destined to be in Nashville. In his hometown of Simi Valley, California, he lived across the street from Tommy Jacob, whose cousin, Judy, a hair-stylist, had a client who owned the window cleaning business that washed the windows at Buck Owens’ house, although he may have had another client; But, I digress. To Rick it was a sign from above telling him to move to Nashville and get into the window cleaning business. When Rick realized that window cleaning required talent, he quickly found himself in need of a new career. He found himself on the doorsteps of 95.5 The Wolf begging for employment, and I guess they felt sorry for him, because Rick Marino is now the host of the Wake Up With The Wolf Show with Rick and Deanna. (Although they still make him wash the windows in the studio and men’s room.)

But seriously folks! Rick is thrilled and humbled to have the opportunity to host the morning show on such a heritage radio station in Music City.

Rick has been a fixture on-air in Nashville radio since 1994.

Marino has been involved with and continues to support local causes such as Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, The March of Dimes, The Salvation Army, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Nashville Humane Association.

Before radio, Marino’s resume was no less eclectic as a road musician, traveling from place to place as a keyboard player, singer/songwriter and vocalist.
